about

Jeanie B! has been on the Windy Kindie Music scene since 2001 when she released her first of four award winning CD's with her cool kickin' kids band The Jelly Beans. Playing to audiences all over the Midwest, Jeanie also teaches music to wee ones in two Evanston pre-schools and has a stable of guitar students that are being groomed for the stage. Her two teenage boys often accompany her on Bass and Drums and while playing for kids is her first love, Angel Paint is the banner under which she performs her music for "grown ups" and has recently released a new EP called CPR.

“I Dig You”
The song is about digging. It was written originally for the Library Summer Reading Theme "Dig into Reading" but somehow became a song about love and friendship. The beautiful day I wrote it, I was sitting on a dock in Nashville with my feet dangling in the water while my kids and Boyfriend were fishing all around me! They caught sunfish; I caught a song!
